RACV Royal Pines Resort Gold Coast

Loved how big the facility is, heaps of things for the kids to do, loved the Warm swimming pool, staff were amazing I was sun tanning and staff asked if I wanted an ice block which was really nice, staff take your order at the pool, concierge brought our bags to our room check in was made soo easy, hotel is close to supermarkets, fast food branches and nice area.

It's a bit ugly from the outside but the hotel is beautiful inside and has amazing facilities. The pool area is great, the gym and spa are fantastic, and the rooms are nicely renovated and very comfortable. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals we had there too. I had a look around the conference facilities too - they are very impressive.

The staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful. The building while an older building the rooms are renovated and look lovely and fresh. Furnishing is the room was lovely and modern. Linen fresh and clean. Pools seemed lovely even though we didn’t have the opportunity to have a swim. Parking was easy and no issues finding a park. Not far from the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast on a golf course.

We took an executive room at higher cost, but we got: Higher floor with views to Gold Coast, newly renovated room with coffee pod machine , included canapés and drinks 17:00 to 19:00, included breakfast in the executive lounge, executive lounge with coffee all day. We thought this was a good deal. The restaurant Amici was great too, but the kitchen closes at 21:00. Golf is there if you like that. Tennis is there if you like that. Outdoor playground for children. Receptionist was helpful and pleasant. Free undercover parking, and free outdoor parking too. Street turnoff is signposted.

If you're attending an event at Carrara Stadium, this is the place to stay. The staff go out of their way to go the extra mile by providing ponchos for wet weather, buggy rides half way to the stadium and even free hotdogs on your return to the hotel after the event. The spa suite was divine. There was full length windows to watch the storm rolling in, a massive sunken lounge room, view over the luxurious pool area from the bathroom (blind for privacy when you prefer) and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good. Pizza at Amici was also good. Complimentary undercover parking was great (not a huge garage so if you're not early to check-in, you may need to park in the outdoor carpark). Beautiful landscaping and golfing greens which aren't apparent until you arrive up the driveway. This resort was a lovely surprise.
